  Should I be mad?

  i've been df'd for about six weeks now.no one has broken the obligation to "honor the disfellowshipping decree".that's the way notorious co paul kohler describes the "loving arrangement" that is jw shunning.

  ( just "serving" napa ).

  so, my wife's family has been "loving me" ( barf ) when out of nowhere, one of them sends home homemade soup for me.... well, i got super pissed.

  we are more than familiar with the wts rules that say the d/f'd ones , even close relatives outside the home are to be shunned completely "not even saying a greeting" except in very exceptional circumstances.

  there is ,however, a line of thought that reasons on jesus' words at matthew 18 ,regarding personal disputes,and their application of it to being disfellowshipped.. matthew 18:15-17.

  They have to ratchet-down their control of the rank and file about df'd ones or apostates. They have to because of that ''mentally diseased'' bit now they have since that article about 4 years ago. They have to almost ''demonize'' those ones.

  The Borg has some billions in property/assets. They could simply sell most of it and come out on top. It's very evident already as we see the disposables like Bethel workers/Special pioneers kick-out and sent home.

  to get to the point straight away i think the crane accident that occurred at warwick was a significant catalyst that has caused the org.

  to change its plans suddenly.. list of assumptions, not all of them are validated.

  That's just what I thought too. The rank and file is brainwashed to thinking that any negative P.R. is Satan trying to damage the Borg. The Borg definitely disabled the rank and file to use their brains, to think and ponder things through, unbelievable already.

  3. IF YOU SAY: the end is coming but not in my lifetime---inspired error. Can't say that because the end can come at any moment.

  That's only a control mechanism to whip the rank and file in line. Of course the average JW has to believe that.

  and with higher education, they want the rank and file to remain stupid, naieve. At University is where one really develops critical thinking abilities. More evidence to evolution is promoted. University is a place where one is taught to use a human's greatest inheritance, their brain. Nuff said!

  Blatant apostates did they ever rescue anyone from the cult?

  we have all heard about ones who have left and became seriously opposed.

  did they have any success in getting anyone out like thier families or is going full appostate a waste of time when it comes to rescuing family and friend's?

  I tend to agree with the sentiment with apostates who hang-out in convention parking lots yelling at JW's or crashing memorial does nothing. But I think it only strengthens the JW's and their resolve.

  If someone is having doubts and wanting to leave the ''truth'', the best way is read apostate sites, books and videos. I think that people should seek out apostates quietly and under the radar and fade, if possible. Instead of apostates yelling at people in arena parking lots, I believe it has an adverse affect on them(the apostates)
